Southern Maryland Dirt Riders president Brian Stewart and Kevin Crine’s dad, John Crine, presented each rider with $2,000 on the podium during the opening ceremonies.  The money is donated by Southern Maryland Dirt Rider club members to help the privateers.  This year’s cash award brings the amount donated to the privateers by SMDR in excess of $20,000.  We wish Alex and Derek much success for the rest of the 2012 season and in the future and hope that our award helps in a small way to help them achieve their goals.  We will be cheering for you so good luck and ride fast and safe!
