For the seventh consecutive year, the award was granted in the memory of Kevin Crine. SMDR president, Lenny Holland, along with Kevin’s father, John, wife, Stacy and son, Brett, presented each rider with a plaque and $2,000 on the podium during opening ceremonies.  The money is donated by SMDR club members during club rides and meetings throughout the year.  This year’s award brings the total amount donated by SMDR to privateers in excess of $24,000.  We hope that our award has better enabled the winners to achieve their goals, in whatever way possible, and has garnered awareness and support for privateers in general.
